Patients R Waiting
Patients R Waiting is an Education Consortium, dedicated in the strategic elimination of health disparties through medical education advocacy and support, cummunity outreach, health education and activism. For more details on initiatives, please go to our main site by clicking here. ​
Ms. Chatman is the lead investigator for these studies, and is a trained qualitative field researcher through NORC at the University of Chicago and with two degrees in Medical Anthropology where she specialized in medical narratives and ethnographic field work. She is also certified in eliminating health disparities through the School of Public Health at SUNY at Buffalo.
Diversifying Doulas
Diversifying Doulas is a signature program of Patients R Waiting which as a community financial empowerment program, further promotes positive birth outcomes through the training and mentorship of BIPOC doulas.
Pipeline Dreams
Pipeline Dreams is the secondary school division of PRW's signature program whose mission is to make the pipline to clinical education less leaky through strategic, holistic support through internship, mentorship and specialized training.
